High was a concert I staged for New York City Gay Men’s Chorus that looks at the effects of crystal meth in the LGBTQ+ community.
The centerpiece of the concert was Through a Glass, Darkly, a choral oratorio that follows 36 hours in the lives three gay men: Sebastian, a young professional who has secretly developed a meth habit, his partner Zack, and a Billy, a trick Sebastian picks up for the night.
